Interdisciplinary Trends in the Studies of Diadema setosum: A Bibliometric Analysis of the Period 1980-2025

Bu çalışma, 1980-2025 yılları arasında istilacı uzun dikenli deniz kestanesi Diadema setosum ile ilgili yapılan araştırmaların ilk kapsamlı bibliyometrik analizini sunmaktadır. VOSviewer kullanılarak, Web of Science Core Collection'dan (TS = “Diadema setosum”) alınan 213 yayın, yayın eğilimlerini, disipliner kapsamı, iş birliği ağlarını, atıf etkisini, ortak atıf modellerini ve tematik kümeleri değerlendirmek için incelenmiştir. Sonuçlar türün Akdeniz’de hızla yayılım gösterdiğini ve 2018 yılından sonra yapılan yayınlarda keskin bir artış olduğunu ve 2022-2023 yıllarında bildirilen toplu ölüm olaylarıyla aynı zamana denk gelen azalışlarını ortaya koymaktadır. Ortak atıf analizi , (i) deniz ekolojisi ve echinoid filocoğrafyası, (ii) istila biyolojisi ve Akdeniz izleme ve (iii) hastalık ekolojisi ve ölüm olayları gibi araştırmaları içeren üç entelektüel kümeden oluşmaktadır. Deniz ve tatlısu biyolojisi disiplin profiline hâkim olurken, çevresel ancak büyüyen temalar arasında ekotoksikoloji, mikroplastik maruziyeti, patojenik etkileşimler ve biyomateryal uygulamaları (ör. kitin, kitosan, kolajen) yer aldı ve düşük Toplam Bağlantı Gücü (TLS) sınırlı entegrasyona işaret etmiştir. Japonya, ABD ve Çin araştırmalarda başı çekerken, Türkiye ilk 10'da yer almış ancak sınırlı uluslararası iş birliği nedeniyle düşük atıf görünürlüğü sergilemiştir. Elde ettiğimiz bulgular, D. setosum ile ilgili araştırmaların klasik deniz ekolojisi ve istila çerçevelerine dayandığını, ancak giderek moleküler ekoloji, hastalık dinamikleri ve biyoteknolojik uygulamalara doğru genişlediğini göstermektedir. D. setosum türün sürdürülebilir kullanımını desteklemek, disiplinler arası yaklaşımların güçlenmesi, çok merkezli iş birliklerinin teşvik edilmesi, açık genomik ve ekolojik verilerin entegre edilmesi, istilacı dinamiklerin anlaşılması ve ekolojik riskleri değerlendirmek için önem arz etmektedir.
